Using Artificial Intelligence Ethically
We invite team members, technology enthusiasts and thought leaders to explore the opportunities and ethical challenges of AI in the healthcare setting. The Health Sciences Library encourages digital literacy and ethical awareness of AI use. We also will offer some guiding principles regarding the responsible use of AI, as the library staff has begun to see impacts of AI in the research sphere.
We will explore practical strategies for integrating AI tools into research and education settings using ethical best practices while empowering users with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in an AI-driven world. We'll focus on how users can frame clear prompts, and not only adapt to this rapidly changing landscape but can also act as catalysts for knowledge diffusion, shaping a more informed, and innovative future for all of our users.
